Near Home

Bryan's condition has deteriorated significantly during the night, and it appears that he doesn't have much longer to live.

He's surrounded by his family and is as comfortable as he's able to be.

Please pray for a peaceful homegoing, and for encouragement for the Pollock family.

Dearest Susan,
Even though it will be a joyful homecoming, my heart aches for you for the road ahead. Both Stan and I will miss Pastor Bryan very very much. I have never met a more kind, humble, Godly man in all my life and while Heaven is rejoicing in this treasure finally home, earth must mourn it for a time. We love you both.

Dearest Partners in Serving Christ,
We love you so and are with you each moment in spirit as you walk this dark vale. We know the LORD is with you, holding your hands, and guiding you in the path He has for you. Humanly, we can't begin to understand God's ways in this, but we trust with you that His ways are always best--for Bryan, for you, Susan, and your precious kiddos, and for the rest of us who love Bryan dearly, are so thankful for how God has used him in our lives, and who will also miss him so very much.

I'm typing this through tears of sadness and joy. Sadness for you, the family, but joy that Bryan will see Jesus and will be fully healed.

We're praying for you right now. We love you all so much.

God will turn our mourning into dancing. He wipes away every tear. He carries us when we no longer can walk. He makes us to lie down in green pastures. He covers us like a hen to her chicks. He knows every hair on our head. He is our Father. Our Lord has prepared a home with streets of gold and angels who care and watch over us. He awards us with crowns and He created us in His image. He has born the the pain of death before us and he will be their to welcome us home at last. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He is the giver of grace and mercy and comfort. We pray that you will discover comfort through His Spirit, strength in His Word, and Peace by His Son. We love you all.

My heart aches for you Susan and for the children. I want to wrap my arms around you. Elizabeth says that she wishes she were there to just hold someone's hand.

With Joy there is mourning. Joy that Bryan will not have to suffer any more and mourning as we have to continue here.

I too pray for the peace that surpasses all understanding to be yours.

Bryan's home going will have a huge impact on so many of us because his LIFE had such a huge impact on so many of us.

Dearest Susan,

Our hearts are aching for you now. This is not the miracle *we* had hoped for, but we trust that our Loving Father knows best and are confident that this is for His Glory and our good, especially Bryan's. He's going home...that is just such an awe inspiring thought.

Much love to you all,

Oh how I have prayed that Bryan's Heavenly Birthday would still be many years off yet. We continue to uphold your precious family in our prayers.

What a wonderful testimony of faith you have been as we have watched you walk this Journey Through Suffering. Bryan will be missed greatly. His ministry strengths are many and the one that comes to mind most often when I think of him is Shepherd. He truly cared for each one of his little (and growing!) flock in a way that made you feel well cared for.

May the Lord of All Comfort wrap His loving arms around each member of your beloved family and uphold you with His strength.

We love you so very much!
Blessings,

We are praying for you all. Our Lord's ways are so far above ours that when we don't see the reason we will just trust Him and know that He will take care of His beloved ones that are left here. Bryan will soon be in Heaven with Jesus!!! He is at the end of the race and can rest with the other saints..
Our prayers and tears are with you,

Susan,

You are all in our prayers. We love you and are truely blessed by you all.

It has been an honor to have a sheperd such as your Bryan to teach us. He will be missed very much.

This is such a bittersweet time as we let Bryan go. This is not good-bye though we will see him again one day.

God bless you and comfort you all.

Susan and children,

Oh, may God comfort you and fill your hearts with peace now and trust for the future. God promises in Isaiah 46:3,4 that He will bear us up and carry us even into our graying years. We so loved Pastor Bryan these 3 years at Pilgrim. God ministered to us tremendously through him, especially to understand the Gospel more clearly. We will always be grateful. We love you all dearly and will continue to lift you up to God.
