To be honest, I know it is a providence of God, because I think it would be very emotional for me to remember all the years of cold, snow, rain, ice, pushing a stroller or waddling pregnant, singing and laughing all the way while Bryan led us in one carol after another increasing his pitch as the night wore on. Then, returning to the church for tea, coffee, hot cider or cocoa to discuss how well we were or were not received. Even last year, while it was cold and snowing, Bryan being thin and in pain, endured the elements to sing for a block or two. He about froze, and it took a long while to get him warm again, but he thoroughly enjoyed himself!
We wish you a Merry Christmas! We wish you a Merry Christmas! We wish you a Merry Christmas! And a Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas Susan and all from our family to yours...
Love in Christ,
Jeannie
I was unable to go due to illness as well but my mind thought of Pastor Bryan as well. I was thinking back to the first year that Stan and I went and how much Pastor Bryan seemed like a child in his eagerness and joyfulness and so much like a warrior in his unfettered determination to spread Christ's message. We both went home that night with a new appreciation of the carols for sure. I think of you tonight Susan.

Just had to let you know, Jonathan learned well from the feet of his dad. Some of those notes last night were way beyond a comfortable range and honestly, I was sometimes praying the people wouldn't come to the door!LOL Missed you and Gracie, hope she is back to her old self today.
So glad you continue to post as we pray for you and the children daily.
Hopefully in sharing these memories it helps you.
What a blessing to have so many good memories to draw upon during this difficult time!
Our prayers go to you at Christmas. May God be with you at this season of remembrance.

Hi Susan--Just a short note to let you know that you and your family are regularly on my mind. Your journey is on a new path and you are not alone.
